Jameel Motors Company and TRUXX Transportation Technology have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to cooperate on introducing commercial electric trucks into the food and agricultural logistics sector in the UAE. This collaboration will be implemented through TRUXX’s digital logistics platform, designed to modernize and enhance the nation’s transportation ecosystem.

This strategic partnership marks an important step toward promoting sustainability and developing smart transportation systems within the agriculture and food industries. It aligns with the UAE’s national vision to reduce carbon emissions, support clean energy initiatives, and drive the transition toward sustainable mobility.

The project aims to replace diesel-powered trucks with modern, efficient electric trucks, thereby reducing carbon emissions, lowering operating costs, and enhancing logistics performance across the supply chain. It also seeks to empower farmers by maintaining cost competitiveness and ensuring the continuous supply of fresh agricultural and food products across the country.
