The Ministry of Economy and Tourism signed a memorandum of understanding with TRUXX to enhance cooperation and exchange expertise in the fields of innovation and modern digital solutions.
Al Saleh: The ministry continues to support the development of a new economy based on innovation and modern technologies. The memorandum strengthens partnerships with national companies, contributing to enhancing the competitiveness of the national economy.
The memorandum comes within the framework of the ministry's vision aimed at enabling innovative models, enhancing their contribution to the national economy, and supporting high-growth national companies.
The memorandum focuses on coordinating the implementation of joint training programs and capacity-building initiatives, as well as preparing relevant studies and research that contribute to raising the efficiency of economic sectors.
The Ministry of Economy and Tourism signed a memorandum of understanding with TRUXX, a company specializing in digital logistics solutions, to enhance cooperation and exchange expertise in innovation and modern digital solutions. The agreement also aims to coordinate joint training programs and capacity-building initiatives, and support joint projects and initiatives between the two parties. The signing ceremony was attended by His Excellency Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy and Tourism . The memorandum was signed on behalf of the Ministry by His Excellency Abdullah Al Saleh, Undersecretary of the Ministry, and on behalf of TRUXX by Engineer Khadem Al Muhairi, Founder and CEO.
This came on the sidelines of the Ministry’s participation in the “Made in the UAE 2026” exhibition, which is being held from May 4 to 7, and brings together major industrial and advanced technology companies with the aim of promoting local industry and supply chains, and enabling companies of all sizes to manufacture, expand and export from the country.
This memorandum comes within the framework of the Ministry’s vision to enable innovative models and enhance their contribution to the national economy, and to support high-growth national companies, especially since “TRUXX” is one of the companies that joined the UAE Future 50 list, which is an initiative launched by the Ministry in cooperation with the Government Development and Future Office last May.
In this context, His Excellency Abdullah Al Saleh, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy and Tourism , affirmed that this memorandum reinforces the Ministry’s direction towards building quality partnerships with innovative national companies, which supports the development of new economy sectors and expands the base of growth based on innovation and modern technologies. He pointed out that cooperation with TRUXX contributes to supporting the business environment, stimulating the expansion of companies, and enhancing their ability to compete locally, regionally and globally.
For his part, Engineer Khadem Al Muhairi, Founder and CEO of TRUXX, said: “The signing of this agreement with the Ministry of Economy and Tourism marks a significant milestone in our journey to support a more digitally enabled, transparent, and reliable logistics market in the UAE. Through this agreement, TRUXX is positioned to play a more comprehensive role within the national logistics ecosystem by supporting price transparency for land transport, facilitating access to reliable service providers, and enabling the digital movement of goods and containers across the country’s main trade routes.” He noted that the company’s objectives include supporting fair shipping rates, providing reliable access to logistics providers, and enhancing the continuity of trade flows for the UAE business community.
The memorandum focuses on strengthening frameworks for cooperation and joint coordination between the two parties in areas of common interest, supporting the exchange of knowledge, experiences and information in a way that contributes to the development of initiatives and policies, as well as contributing to the development of the business environment and improving the efficiency of related sectors through joint cooperation, and strengthening the partnership between the public and private sectors.
Areas of cooperation between the two sides include the exchange of relevant information and data in accordance with the legislation and policies in force in the country, cooperation in preparing relevant studies, research and reports, exchange of best practices and experiences, in addition to cooperation in organizing and hosting events, workshops and conferences, coordination in receiving and organizing visits of local and international delegations, and support for joint initiatives and projects.
